Sepals equal or subequal; corollas campanulate or funnel-shaped, usually almost entire; stamens and styles included; ovaries 2-celled, with 2 ovules per cell; styles simple, filiform; stigmas 2, filiform or oblong. Capsules usually 4-valeved; seeds mostly glabrous, 1-4.
Convolvulus includes about 250 species which grow primarily in temperate and subtropical regions but there are some that are native to the tropics.
