Plants trees; young branches not seen. Leaves 4-7 cm long, almost glabrous to sparsely puberulous on petiole and along edges; petiole 1-2 cm; leaflets 7, 2-3.5 cm long, 1.3-2.8 cm wide, broadly elliptic to suborbiculate, base cuneate to subcordate, margins entire, tip rounded to retuse. Inflorescences 7-14 cm long, almost glabrous, on peduncles 2-5.5 cm long, racemose, with many flowers; Flowers sparsely puberulous; petals about 3 mm long, erect; filaments about 1 mm long, glabrous, gradually narrowed from the base; disc concave. Fruits and stones not known.
Boswelliia ogadensis is known only from the tye collection. It does not appear to be close any other species.
