Plants shrublets or shrubs up to 1.2 m tall; young stems appressed puberulent, glabrescent; old stems sometimes with thick corky ridges. Leaves stipulate, alternate or the upper leaves opposite, 2-4.5 cm long; stipules narrowly triangular to linear, up to 3 mm long; leaflets 2-4 pairs, obliquely oblong to obovate-elliptic, 7-20 mm long, 3-15 mm wide, puberulent with minute, appressed hairs. Pedicels 10-25(-40) mm long; sepals lanceolate, 7-12 mm long, finely appressed pubescent; petals brick-red to orange or golden yellow, 12-18 mm long; stamens 6-8 mm long; ovavries sparsely pilose with hairs about 1.5 mm long; styles united, 5-10 mm long; stigmas capitate. Fruits mostly glabrous but with a few scattered hairs; mericarps 7-8 mm long, with a somewhat reticulately wrinkled surface, with or without a short pair of horns.
Kelleronia revoilii grows in open bushland in rocky, gravelly, or sand areas, usually on limestone, at elevations of 30-1450 m. It is known from regions N2-3 and C1 of the Flora of Somalia and from he Arabian Peninsula.
