Plants caulescent, pendent; stems to 40 cm long, branched mainly from the base. Leaves 6-8, 10-15 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, grey-green, without spotes; margins with hard teet; teeth about 2 mm long, light brown, 3-5 mm apart. Inflorescences 25-30 cm long, simple, vearing flower-bearing portion up to 12 cm long, racemose, cylindrical-conical, flowers fairly densely packed; Bracts about 10 mm long, 5 mm wide; pedicels 10-12 mm long . Flowers scarlet with yellowish-green mouth, pendent; perianths about 25 mm long, 5 mm wide across the ovary, slightly clavate, outer tepals from for about 5 mm; anthers exserted fro up to 1 mm; ovary about 5 mm long, 2.5 mm wide; stigma exserted 1-2 mm.
Aloe cremnophila grows on cliff faces in Juniperus-Pistacia forest, usually above 2000 m. It is known only from region N2 of the Flora of Somalia.
