Shrub, erect or straggling, up to 1 m. Leaves simple, alternate, oval with entire margins. Flowers solitary in leaf axils, white, tubular with frilly edges, opens at night. Fruit an ovoid capsule.
Habitat: Limestone hillsides.
Distribution: Somaliland and eastern Ethiopia, altitude 1000 – 1700 m.
Note: Said to be poisonous to sheep, goats and donkeys.
