Plants herbaceous and twining. Stems with lots of stiff, spreading hairs. The leaves are broadly ovate to suborbicular with an acute to shortly attenuate tip and stiff hairs at least over the veins on the lower surface. The peduncles are 4-12(20 cm) long and the pedicels 1.5-4 cm long; both have stiff, spreading hairs. The flowers are white, cream or green with a 2-4 mm tube at the base of the corolla and corolla lobes that are 5-13(16) mm long with hairs on the base and the margins.
