Leaves ovate, obovate, elliptic, or suborbicular with entire, crenulate, crenate, crisped, denticulate, or toothed margins; petiole almost as long as or longer than the leaf blade.
Dorstenia foetida subsp. foetida grows on rocky outcrops un deciduous bushland at 300-1500 m in regions N1-N3 and C1 (as used in the Flora of Somalia) amd from the Sudan (possibly South Sudan) and Yemen.
