Plants glabrous, 15-50 cm tall; basal branches many. Leaves 2-3-pinnate, 4-8 cm long; pinnae linear. Peduncles 5-20 cm long; involucres of small, linear to ovates bracts; rays 6-15, 2-4 cm long, glabrous; involucels of linear to ovate bractlets; pedicels 2-4 mm long. Flowers with pubescent ovaries and slender styles. Fruits 4-6 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, oblong, margins thickened, tumid.
Nasir stated that Ducrosia anethifolia igrew in Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. GBIF (2021-05-06) shows it as extending west to the Arabian Peninsular, Iraq, and Iran but had no records from Pakistan at that time. Nasir cited records from Baluchistan.
